In Your Dreams … (One Shot Wednesday Poetry)

I wonder…

What would you be doing

right now?

Where would your mind be

taking you?

Who would be wandering with you

in your dreams?

What would you be holding close?

I know…

what you are doing

right now

Your mind is thinking of me

I am wandering with you

in your dreams

You are holding me

close in your arms

That is all that matters …

I am in love with  T. Jones and his magnificent photography. He will be featured this weekend at One Shoot Sunday

  5. The choices ..two roads, and always wondering what if I’d taken the other one. There is that constant whisper, “did I choose the right one” even if it was the one less traveled. I like this and that was my take but I have to admit the photograph is inspiring. What is he wondering, would our thoughts collide. Beautifully done. Thank you.

  26. Now that is a great shot…the black and white really aids in capturing the scene, as well.

As to the poem, Moon, a romantic gesture with a solid progression. Absolutely lovely, and possessed of a warmth that just wants to wrap you right up in its arms…

Hope you’re having a happy One Shot Wednesday! :)

  29. Corbie

Beautiful poem. I am always wondering what other people are thinking, if they ever think of me. I liked the confidence of the answer, yes he’s thinking about me. Perhaps on day I’ll be in tune with a special person like that!
