Make Music (photo prompt poetry)

Play me

listen to those low tones

that come from my heart

a depth only you can produce

***

Play me

each finger has a special place

knows the inner core

of my being

***

Play me

to your dying day

hear the soft sweetness

of love we  share

***

Play me

as you lean into me

and I into you

we make the sweetest

Music

This picture is a poetry photo challenge from my friend Charles Martin. This photo is a man who has had a long, loving life as a jazz player. Hear the Bass’ words, feel fingers produce beauty as they together make music.

Music is relational isnt it – I could see the correlation between an instrument and it’s master and lovers

  3. Lovely write. It speaks to me clearly of the bond between musician and instrument, and the love for playing. Instrument and musican merge and the sound of it is beautiful. – Bill
