the words and intent
too long
angst flow now thru my fingertips
run away from my heart
I urge the poison placed
like acid there for nigh too long
Away!!!
killing who I had been
i air out my soul
i glimpse what I lost
now that I am
myself regained
now
flow
ing free

Angst…
oh i love this, especially the ending — I am myself regained / now flowing free
sooo good. xx
Love this. To me it sounds like someone regaining their freedom after a bad relationship. But that is only my interpretation.
or after having an asthma attack…
A real sense of release in this piece!
Oh…I thought a bad relationship and a bad asthma attack were synonyms for one another.
Liked the write.
yes indeed they are – lol
… I air out my soul
We all need to do that now and again as it is so easy to get lost.
much easier to look back once we ourselves air out and find that freedom…i like moon…
Air out your soul to give you the much needed freedom, to live and to love. A fine poem.
I like the flow of air in your words…regaining one’s self is a big achievement ~
Hope all is well ~
May you always flow free. Lovely 55.
