Making A Way #poetry #photography #blackandwhite #winter #newyear

A whisper calls

frozen – hurts so much

no movement can I make

you strain to touch

can I climb above the fall

***

A smile beckons – warm

removes the empty, aching burn

touching me deep within

my will (tho faint) returns

I can survive this storm

I love effects that can be made with simple iphone photography. This is actually an un-named  sculptured sign in the National Gallery of Art. It seems far removed now in a snowy wayward place.
