A block
used to build
will grow taller still
with much work and skill
the workers strive a tireless lot
if pulled at small and weakened spot
the building looming tall and proud will plop
Follow this prompt from Poets United:
BUILD IT UP -One Word At A Time Your first line has two words. The second line has three. The third, four, and so on. Length is not limited so long as each line contains one more word than the line before it. Write until it’s ready! When you’re finished, go back and give your poem a one word title.

how high can they build????
Eeee I love it sooo much!! If pulled at weakened spot – will plop!
glad you liked it!!!

a fun challenge / thanks

This is cleverly done. Love the picture, too.
thanks – I love the picture as well it is the beautiful shell of an old chapel
Game of jenga is definitely tricky. And only an expert ( worker here) can keep the tower intact, else…
‘the building looming tall and proud will plop’ — Very well put! Enjoyed thoroughly..
Your words and final shape brought to mind the thousands who toiled their lives long to build pyramids, buildings, structures strong. And your last line made me consider integrity and reliability. Nicely done.
Glad you saw the image. Erosion occurs in anything man made over time. Some buildings last longer than others…
Superbly done!
