Alone #poetry #photography

Alone in the museum

Too many times

have I crossed this bridge

Alone

Too many times

have I trudged this path

“groan”

Too many times

have I missed her smile’s

memory

Too many times

have I kissed her lips

figuratively

Too many times

have I crossed this bridge of life

with no hand to hold

but my own

  1. Guess some journeys are meant to be taken alone…another fine verse.

    • The ISO is the old Film Speed’.It’s is the sensitivity of the seonsr. In low light for example, you would generally set the ISO higher to make the seonsr more sensitive. This in turn would allow you a quicker shutter speed.the downside is that you may get more noise’ on the photo which would need photo shopping

  2. Beautiful, Leslie…

    • Dana! How can I say thank you for capturing such an awmseoe moment in your lives? This is an experience that will leave an indelible mark on our lives forever. My family and friends are amazed at how you were able to capture the love we have for each other and for our little bundle to come! Our experience with you was phenomenal. We can’t wait to see you in December!Shayla

  3. Each phase highlighted beautifully !!!

  4. Reblogged this on whisper out loud .

  5. I think that this poem is represented well by the staircase. As I read I fall down because the lines in your poem step down line by line it has a good feel to it then at the end there is nothing. We have all been there. Do you also write poetry as a sort of therapy?

  6. Sad, and gorgeous! Leslie, your prose is beautiful.
