It’s Out!!! – Apple’s awaited ipad

Word on the street is people cued up at 3am in Dallas to be the first to purchase the ipad. I understand there was a similar cue in Palo Alto, Ca. New York’s cues probably necessitated a riot squad.

So has all the hype worked? It sounds like it! Estimates are sales were between 200,000 and 700,000 for the weekend and those figures are rising.  Apple is sitting pretty on the NY stock exchange today – that’s a certainty.

With over 1000 applications on the ipad and more being developed (one entrepreneur was developing an app while standing in line to get his ipad), geeks will have plenty to play with.

I’m jealous my geek friends were tweeting on their ipad while I had the honor of seeing the video.I will wait impatiently for the next generation ipad.

Oh there is plenty to read about this baby. Here’s just one news worthy site;…

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing with an E. African team that is developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.
