Not alone (#Microfiction Monday)

What is there that I cannot see

peering from beneath a blanket of misty gray?

I feel a forboding in my spirit

I am not alone

Join us for MicroFiction Monday as we try to construct a story in 140 characters based on a photo prompt. Thanks to Susan who graciously hosts each week.

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing with an E. African team that is developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thanks – we are having that really thick fog right now – so romantic, alluring – I always imagine something could be there behind the mist

    2. These are all good points to reeembmr. A blog is a package deal – it’s not all about the text (which can often be dense and long as you point out) it’s about the whole visual and reading experience.

    1. You’ve insisted on tiryng to treat an interrelated set of interests as a homogenous blog and when somebody smarter than you gave you a better method of analysis you dismissed it. What a turd.

  1. I always enjoy the mystery that fog instills in the mind. I can even recall my favorite foggy morning, which took place in Boston, at which time all the skyscrapers were hidden.

The piece was thought provoking. Thanks,

      1. Great post! I’ll also add that when there is no evidence of the blgegor’s interaction with their readers (they never respond in the comments or address them in posts) that it’s a turn-off for me. I like the interaction and community feeling at my favorite blogs.

  2. 144Hey there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this wseibte with us so I came to take a look. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Great blog and brilliant style and design.
