Ripples of Life #poetry #photography #lifeslessons

Can you really experience the ups in life without have lived in the downs?

You have to fall in love

and lose it

to really know love at all

you have to wish on a star

and hold it

to understand that stars fall

you have to give

with your whole heart

in order to embrace the weak and small

you have to be pierced

through the middle

to understand the power of pain

you have to live life

to the fullest

to understand loss and gain

you have to throw caution

to the four winds

to dance with life’s love in the rain

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. In 2019, we started working with an E. African team developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children who want to learn. As a bio major and nurse, it is exciting to use my knowledge to encourage young minds to love science. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

    1. The Heynes Manual arrived today and, well, it’s more a geanrel – and less, um, geeky – treatment of Apollo 11 than the “Owners’ Workshop Manual” subtitle suggests. The best book I’ve read to date on Apollo 11 has been First on the Moon by Armstrong, Aldrin & Collins. A review of that, and the Heynes Manual, will be going up on my blog next month, as part of my 40th celebrations of the Moon Landing.
