Puzzle Me This … #NWCU #WWUC #poetry

Master of the Stars

what disconnected chain

can hold a lunar orb

in the perfect balance

between light and dark?

Can the herald

with one magnificent note

spin sense

unto this unreality?

or will for all time

the seasons be reversed

the tides fail to ebb

and will the flow

of reason

End???

This rather complicated piece comes from Roger Baut’s  prompt for Wednesday Wakeup Call at The New World Creative Union where many pieces of a puzzle were meant to be solved or written or created

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing with an E. African team that is developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

  1. Hi there Leslie. Thank you for adding your light and essence to our NWCU WWUC, with your finely tuned and crafted poem of moonlight and silver thoughts. I also enjoyed your combination of the several elements, especially these lines,

    “Can the herald

    with one magnificent note

    spin sense

    unto this unreality?”

It certainly would be nice if he could!

    Kudos, Leslie!
