The Forest or the Trees? #wordpress #dailypost #poetry #photography

When you gaze out your window (literally or figuratively) do you see the forest or the trees????

three rivers canvas

Run my fingertips through mossy hair

flick water drop rainbows toward the sky

inhale your loamy essence

run my hands over your rocky surfaces

grasp the prisms of  sunlight

listen to your voice as you rush by

…and all the time long to be a tree by your banks

The question above is the prompt for the Daily Post at WordPress. What do you see????

Photography: “Three Rivers for canvas” copyright L. Moon 2012. This photo I gave an oil painting rendering (using paint.net) to see what it would look like on a canvas. Nature’s textures are so pronounced.
