I’ve been forgiven

Today at Carpe Diem the prompt is forgiveness. Join us as we delve into the world of Haiku.

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing with an E. African team that is developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

    1. you’re not working hard egnouh. I get that, too, but on the other hand, I’m not convinced I can look back at this year and point to 52 distinct things as finished, so if I actually manage this, or even come close? Definitely working!Good luck with your goals!

Your picture and words were so exquisite for the ache and longing of being forgiven.

    1. Thanks Rebecca. A small child of your own sure has a way of showing you up for the fool you are, if you take my minenag. It definitely gives some perspective along with all the unexpected emotions, well unexpected to some extent, anyway.

  2. Hi Crystal, traditionally haiku is coempsod of three lines, with a maximum of 17 syllables. It can be 3-5-3 or 5-7-5. More modern forms of haiku don’t necessarily follow the 3-5-3 or 5-7-5, but they should still be on three lines to stay within the spirit of haiku: a single moment in time captured. 🙂
