along life’s path
I picked up a pebble
grateful
it was not in my shoe
along life’s path
I picked up a smile
funny thing
it belonged to you!
along life’s path
I felt the dawn
warm rays
filled from within
along life’s path
I held a little hand
attached to a child
with a giggly grin
along life’s path
I stood and fell
but you were faithful
always there
along life’s path
gratitude spilled
on friends who loved
blessed to care

I wish each of you who have been in life’s path a warm and happy holiday season. May the blessings flow in 2014!!
Thank you to the talented ladys at Poets United who have provided a year of delightful inspiration. This week’s prompt was Gifts and Blessings.

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. In 2019, we have an exciting project. We are working with a team developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children who want to learn.
I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2012 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the (quiet) originator of the idea and co-producer of One Stop Poetry.

There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.
