Turbulent we ride it out
on high churned up seas
tie down the sails
in slickers freeze
the day had been
balmy and blue
grey skies forever
waves choppy too
you take the good
I’ll take the bad
the stormy days
are close at hand
as you let loose your sails
remember this day
we long for the ocean
with which to play

GORGEOUS PHOTO!!! And it sets up the invitation in the poem to stay on those seas despite turbulance and an uncertainty. We can take it, and the rewards remain.

Yeah, it isn’t all smooth sailing but it sure makes the calm all the more enjoyable.

Well done, I really like the idea of playing in the storm. I recall doing that when I was younger.
