Inner Voice #photography #haiku

For this Carpe Diem Sparkling Stars prompt Kristjaan  challenges us to write a classical haiku based on “Inner Voice”. We have to follow the classical rules:

5-7-5 syllables

a season word (kigo)

a cutting word (kireji), mostly interpunction in Western haiku

a moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water

a deeper (spiritual/religious) meaning

*

up along the slopes
under the sun – the goats
were grazing on fire.

on the balcony
standing in a cage of sunbeams –
like a rainbow

something has happened.
the moon lit up the room.
God knew about it.

hear the sighing rain.
I whisper a secret, to reach
all the way in there.

a scene on the platform.
what a strange calm –
the inner voice

Enter the chamber

song of the fluttering leaves

a holy hush

*

Day and night meet

a scroll of light rolls open

peek at His throne

*

Incapable

 writing of your grandeur

I pen a haiku

I’ve experienced these scenarios this week as the weather changes and the sky goes from blue to black it is truly a moment beyond description and so I write haiku.
