Sun’s Wisdom #nature #poetry #photography

cant catch fall

Calendar’s clock

autumn sets nature’s pace

I can’t catch her

end of the tunnel

Frenzied is my pace

am I going the right way

sunrise perspective

warmth of dawn

Sun sheds light

collecting shells for answers

tide caresses day

The prompt this week at Poets United is “Energy/ Vitality.”

“Pointing to another world will never stop vice among us; shedding light over this world can alone help us.”
Walt Whitman

Where do you get your energy from? I get mine from the sun (especially at the ocean.) It’s that calming energy that gives perspective rather than that rush about flailing for answers.

  1. For me, too, walking the beach in the morning sun adjusts my energy so its unnatural yet ever present frenzy comes into balance. Some of us have to learn about healing over and over again. Beautiful images in poem and photos.
