Intent #eyes #children #poetry

You may watch what we do

I know your intent too well

who watches the innocent

wants a child to fall?

Too long the history

 foul your jaded past

you ogle a prize

an ogre at best

I’ll continue my path

butterflies and ribbons

we play and we love

our celebration is living

I am sickened that there are people in our world who use others for their gain. Children are the most vulnerable and deserve to be protected against such evil.

Thank you to those who reach out to a hurting world and care…

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. In 2019, we started working with an E. African team developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children who want to learn. As a bio major and nurse, it is exciting to use my knowledge to encourage young minds to love science. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

  1. Hi Leslie – it is just so terrible and so unfair: in fact there are no words to describe the horror … it’d be great if you could join our monthly #WATWB – where we write positive stories – highlighting good things that were being done to help others. If you do – let me know … well thought out poem though … cheers Hilary
