Seek The Cure #covid19 #disease

disease in every crevice

my eyes are covered

soul  drier than the desert

*

where is refreshment

streams of life forsaken

down to the abyss

*

disease in every crevice

my eyes are covered

soul  drier than the desert

*

death circles the drain

immeasurable lines to mourn

my heart can’t cry

*

disease in every crevice

my eyes are covered

soul  drier than the desert

*

where is the cure?

no one has the answer

lost in a wasteland

*

disease in every crevice

my eyes are covered

soul  drier than the desert

*

looking in the wrong places

trusting man’s word

fools follow fools

*

disease in every crevice

my eyes are covered

soul  drier than the desert

*

open my eyes to The Truth

help me seek the cure

it’s at the cross of Jesus

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said,

out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

~John 7:37-38

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. In 2019, we started working with an E. African team developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children who want to learn. As a bio major and nurse, it is exciting to use my knowledge to encourage young minds to love science. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.
