Fawn #haiku

I came home this evening gasping in awe

so fresh are the white speckles on the fawn

She looks so calm with those big eyes

Her neck twists as she watches her resting twin

bending her legs she lays on the forest floor

Mothers never leave them when they are this young

the tears caress my eyelids

tomorrow they awaken to tomorrow’s challenge

tonite they rest under nature’s canopy

so new to the world

orphans in forest sanctuary

foraging alone

The prompt at Carep Diem Haiku Kai is Fawn.

Empty Shell #haiku #art #photography

watering eye

next to my footprint

the empty shell of a hermit crab –
Ah! what a sadness

(c) Chèvrefeuille (2012)

Devoid of feeling

punished by old dreams

carried on a wave

~L. Moon

Thanks to Kristjaan at Carpe Diem for another installation (part 2) of 3 part Vision Quest challenge where we have 24 hours to respond by writing a haiku. Today’s prompt “Empty Shell.”

Artwork: “Tearing Eye” is a pencil drawing layered on top of a photograph of a wave.

Montage of Sadness #haiku #photography #art

we have become one

in our sorrows and sadness

sharing pain’s path

sadness of the day

sucks color and all light

leaving dark decay

believe my sadness

revelation of life’s soul

fallen no rising

Life’s Storm #poetry

A storm came in today

it seems like it’s come to stay

Wind and rain

rumbling dramatic flash

storm raged

when will this pass?

please give up

let’s stop the fight

when did our life become a storm

when did you become so forlorn

I love you

please don’t give up

hold my hand one more time

tho no longer little

it still fits in mine

Joe Naylor caught this storm perfectly:http://www.flickr.com/photos/pandora_6666/2613729479/

Dont know what to say (poem)

You answered

there was something there

or was there something

It had been joyous

every moment

of every

chiding, teasing,

Each moment of each day

like a rose blooming

each stage

a new

Is this

the brown

about to be

blown away

Thanks to : CTwirler12 for the dead rose
